my 1984 model M 84 key space saver keyboard
I have this IBM Model M 84 keys space saver keyboard that my god gf got me.
I’ve been trying like a psycho monkey to get it working again.
This thing was made in 1984. It weighs maybe five pounds.
It has no number pad.
It’s .. like… If you had to devise the perfect object of your desire-if you could dream it up how it should be and what it should look like. What it should feel like when you touch it. When you hear it.
This is the perfect machine- the perfect input device.
The fact that someone got this for me- makes her the ultimate input device.
I’m a intelligentsia. That means I suck at sports and I cry if people look at me when I walk down the street.
I’m mildly aspbergers – high funcitoning autistic.
I lay my cheek against my IBM 600e thinkpad to get my rocks off.
Men like me long for a woman that would get him a IBM Model M 84 key space saver- like regular men long for a woman who would get them a camaro- and teenage boys want a girlfriend who’ll watch porn with them.

I recently discovered something as I was monkeying around with my Model M.
It would seem like the keys get jammed. That I press down and the space key keeps going.
I know why, now.
It’s the springs. They’re messed up, a couple of them.
Just beg somebody online for some IBM buckling springs.
I begged clicky keyboards.
I’m getting there.. Model M.. soon… soon..
